“ I've been going here for years. It is a staple restaurant for the North Burnaby community. The workers and servers here are always friendly and attentive. The battered fish at Cockney Kings is delicious and fluffy. Their fries and Louisiana Shrimp are excellent and freshly made. In addition, all you can eat fish and chips for 17.99 is a great deal, even if the fish itself is low cost like Pollock. This is a must try if you are in the area. ”

Between the four of us, we ordered the salmon and haddock combo, cod and haddock combo, small cod plate, and calamari dinner plate — and everything exceeded expectations. The fish was fresh, cooked to perfection, and topped with a crispy, golden batter that was neither greasy nor overly heavy. The haddock was pleasantly mild, the cod tender and flaky, and the salmon rich and buttery with a texture that was perfectly balanced by the light batter. The calamari also stood out — tender and soft, rather than rubbery, and served with the house made tzatziki dipping sauce. The chips were old-fashioned thick-cut fries, warm and comforting, and the portions were generous to say the least. “ Amazing Food, Great Vibes, but Bring a Jacket! This was our second time having lunch at Cockney Kings Fish & Chips, and it didn’t disappoint! The food is absolutely amazing. We tried all types of fish, and both the cod and haddock were outstanding—perfectly crispy with a lovely texture and no fishy smell whatsoever. The onion rings and shrimp were equally scrumptious—just chef's kiss! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly, making the experience even better. The only thing to note is that it can get quite chilly inside, so be sure to bring a jacket! Still, that minor detail won’t stop us from coming back for more. Highly recommend! ”

“ Fish and chips at its finest! We actually went to eat poutine. It was the expected poutine taste. Halibut fish was amazing. I think the curry poutine was good, just I as American can’t still quite make around the appeal of poutine. Otherwise, I enjoyed the service and the experience in of itself. Clean interior, no fishy business. ”
“ I go here almost every week. It's the best fish and chips restaurant I've been to. The food is tasty and the staff are super friendly. Monday to Wednesday, they have all you can eat fish and chips. So, if you're craving a lot, those are the days to go. The coffee is really good as well. The restaurant is always clean when I go. And there is plenty of parking. I will continue to go. ”
